Initial Configuration
Purpose
Set the defaults Tymmerce uses across inventory alerts and FBA planning calculations. Skipping this step doesn't break anything, but your first planning figures will use generic defaults instead of numbers that reflect your actual business.
Who this page is for
New users, right after their first Amazon account finishes its initial sync.
Steps
1. Set your default currency
Go to Settings → Workspace → Currency. This controls how costs and profitability figures are displayed across Product Research and Suppliers — it doesn't change what Amazon reports in each marketplace's native currency.
2. Set default lead times
Under Settings → FBA Planning → Lead Times, enter your typical supplier lead time in days. This is used as the fallback whenever a product isn't linked to a supplier with its own lead time set.
You can override lead time per supplier later — see Lead Times. The workspace default here is only used until a product has a specific supplier linked.
3. Set a low-stock threshold
Under Settings → Inventory → Alerts, choose the days-of-stock-remaining threshold that should trigger a low-stock warning. Most sellers start at 14–21 days and adjust after seeing a few weeks of real data.
4. Confirm marketplace mapping
If you sell the same product across multiple marketplaces under one Amazon account, check Inventory → Marketplace Mapping to confirm Tymmerce has correctly linked them as the same underlying product rather than treating each marketplace listing separately.

Warning
Safety stock and reorder point calculations in FBA Planning won't be reliable until lead times are set. If you see reorder suggestions that look too aggressive or too conservative in your first week, check this page before assuming something is wrong with the calculation.
