Connecting Amazon Accounts
Purpose
Connect a Seller Central account so Tymmerce can read your inventory, orders, and listings.
Who this page is for
Anyone connecting their first Amazon account, or adding an additional one to an existing workspace.
Before you start
You'll need:
- Owner or Admin access to the Seller Central account you're connecting
- The marketplace(s) you sell in (e.g. Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon AU)
Tymmerce connects through Amazon's official SP-API authorization flow. You will never be asked to paste API keys or secret tokens directly into Tymmerce — if anything asks you to do that, stop and contact support.
Steps
- Go to Amazon Accounts → Add Account.
- Select the primary marketplace this account sells in (you can add more marketplaces to the same account afterwards).
- Select Connect with Amazon. You'll be redirected to Amazon's authorization page.
- Log in to Seller Central if prompted, review the permissions Tymmerce is requesting, and select Authorize.
- You'll be redirected back to Tymmerce, where the account now shows a Connecting status while the initial sync begins.

What happens after authorization
Tymmerce kicks off an initial sync across inventory, orders, and listings for the connected marketplace. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours depending on catalogue size — the account status will move from Connecting to Active once the first full sync completes.
Adding a second marketplace to an already-connected account (for example, adding Amazon UK to an account that already has Amazon US) doesn't require re-authorization — see Multi-Account Management.
Common issues
If authorization fails or the account gets stuck in Connecting, see Troubleshooting Connections — most cases come down to a permission that wasn't granted during authorization.
